Salary (HKD) $17,000 - $23,000 / month

Responsibilities

All aspects of editorial work for the local and wider ELT market, including content and copy editing, proofreading, liaising with freelancers and providing after-sales customer support for both print and digital products.

The jobholders may be assigned to support on the following activities: market research and analysis, product development, product presentations and should be prepared to assist with any aspect of work required to complete a relevant project or to support colleagues (both within and beyond their immediate team) to that end.

Job Requirements

Successful candidates should have relevant professional editorial experience (preferably in both print and digital ELT content) and / or teaching experience (preferably in local primary schools), as well as a passion for educational publishing. They should also have excellent spoken and written English, and be able to multitask and meet deadlines. In addition, they should have:

  • a university degree in English, Translation or related disciplines.
  • a keen eye for detail.
  • good organisational and time management skills.
  • the ability to take on responsibility and work independently. 
  • Web skills or a digital background would be an advantage.
