Responsibilities

We are looking for a senior data analyst to expand and drive the agency’s data & analytics service offering and practice. Ideally, the candidate should have strong digital data & analytics experience across a broad range of topics.  

  • Articulate the practice and service offerings, acting as the subject matter expert and sales lead for all things data, including web analytics, SEO, CRM, data automation, journey tracking and campaign performance.
  • Develop data strategies on how to measure, analyze and report the performance and impact of various client projects.
  • Support the strategy team in conducting research, studies and surveys to deliver industry, market or consumer analysis in driving the agency proposal.
  • Deliver analysis, insights and recommendations based on available data.
  • Using analysis to drive decisions (as opposed to taking orders) in a way that yields sustained, measurable results
  • Serving as the voice of the client internally and the voice of the agency externally – and acting as the trusted voice of the customer by bringing insights into creative strategy and program development
  • Fostering an environment of partnership with other capabilities (e.g., Strategy, technology, and Integrated Production)
  • Acting as mentor and trusted advisor to team members
  • Keeping sustainable, long-term client relationships by mitigating risk and ensuring account profitability.

 

What You Will Need

  • 6-8 years of client services experience in a digital and/or creative agency, or communications environment; a focus on digital & integrated marketing campaigns strongly preferred.
  • An undergraduate or graduate degree from a related field of study, including but not limited to mathematics, statistics, business, finance, or computer science.
  • Specific experience with Global 1000 clients in marketing communications, Internet initiatives, branding or business analysis.
  • Outstanding ability to lead, convince and inspire in a client-service environment.
  • Experience and a proven approach to building relationships that result in new, profitable revenue opportunities as well as driving incremental growth on existing work.
  • High knowledge and expertise in marketing – and personal perspective on – Internet trends and technologies, business and site performance analysis, user centered design process, social, campaign work.
  • Proven ability to navigate and leverage partners at scale (working with WPP partners/sister agencies).
  • Proven ability to negotiate Statements of Work and contracts – effectively forecasting and scoping work with teams in close collaboration with Project Management.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor and collaborate in a team-oriented workplace; fostering career growth for the individuals on their project teams.
  • Ability to converse fluently in English and Cantonese, Mandarin is a plus. Excellent English writing skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
