Our client, a well-known IT Services Provider in APAC, is looking for a Senior Helpdesk Engineer to provide remote/helpdesk IT support services for their finance clients.

Great potential for career growth and opportunity to develop into a hands-on Technical Infrastructure Engineer or Helpdesk Team Leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide helpdesk/remote IT support and troubleshooting, as well as, managing server and network administration for hedge fund and asset management clients
  • IT Support covering:
    • PC/Laptop/Phone/Printer hardware, Windows Desktop & Business Applications;
    • Server administration, Active Directory maintenance (add/delete user/group policy); Exchange Server administration;
    • Basic Networking troubleshooting
  • Escalate unresolved/complex issues to the Technical Engineering team
  • Work as part of a team on infrastructure projects with hands-on implementation

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a IT Support role, Banking / Finance industry experience is a plus
  • Good all-rounded tech skills on desktop support and, ideally on server administration: computer hardware (PC, server, laptop / notebook and mobile phones) and software (Windows Desktop, MS Office, Outlook / Notes) and back-end administration (Windows Server, AD, Exchange, basic Networking)
  • Good verbal and written communications skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Diploma or background in IT related discipline
  • Proactive, energetic, and positive attitude.
  • Excellent customer service oriented mindset
