A leading international tech giant is inviting a qualified lawyer with strong M&A / capital market exposure to join their sizable legal team.

Client Details

Our client is a world-leading technology & internet company. To support their business growth, they are now inviting a senior legal counsel (M&A + Capital Market focused) to join their legal team.

Description

  • Provide legal support and advice on M&A and ECM transactions, both domestically and internationally
  • Ensure the company's portfolio of listed companies would receive constant support with ongoing capital market and stock market issues
  • Manage the full legal process of business transactions
  • Provide adivce on corporate governance matters
  • Draft, review, negotiate and administer legal and transactional documentation
  • Liaise and manage external counsels as well as other professional service provider
  • Keep the business teams abreast of all updates on international laws and regulations that may impact the company's business

Profile

  • Qualified lawyer with training at a reputable law firm
  • 5+ PQE preferred, less senior candidates could be considered as legal counsel
  • Solid exposure in handling M&A / capital market projects
  • Familiarity with HK listing rules is preferred but not essential
  • Experience handling cross-border projects with MNCs
  • Open-minded, proactive, self-driven
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and organisational skills
  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills
  • Great written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin needed)
