Reporting to General Manager, Innovation and Technology Department.

You will be responsible for:

  • overseeing the business applications including but not limited to the ERP, CRM, ticketing system, web sites etc. and related activities to support the business operations;
  • developing and executing application strategy, roadmap and policies to improve the application management standards and services;
  • leading and managing the application team comprising of inhouse technical teams and contractors to design and implement business application solutions;
  • working with business stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and recommend technological solutions for solving business problems to align with business strategies;
  • managing the full cycle of the application projects from conceptual design, requirement collection, software development to system deployment;
  • keeping updated with the technology trends, conducting research and evaluating new technologies and making recommendations to business users;
  • providing system support and troubleshooting complex problems to attain the defined service level agreements;
  • managing the vendors and contractors for the system support to deliver quality services according to the defined service level agreements;
  • developing annual IT budget and monitoring the expenses for the operations on business applications; and
  • directing the preparation of procurement paper, RFQ, tender, etc. for new initiatives and agreement renewal till contract award throughout the procurement cycle.

You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree or above in computer science, information systems or equivalent, and preferably with a Master degree in information technology;
  • have a minimum 13 years of experience in IT industry, of which at least 7 years of projects delivery experience including project management, system development, system analysis and design and implementation;
  • demonstrate solid experience in vendor package implementation and support;
  • have experience in delivering digital solutions enhancing customer experience both online and offline;
  • have experience in implementing and supporting Oracle EBS, Hyperion, CRM, etc. and knowledge in using DevOps tools (e.g. GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Ansible) is an advantage;
  • be familiar with integration methods across various systems including ERP, EPM, CRM etc.
  • have experience in supporting application systems e.g. ticketing system, membership loyalty for theme parks or entertainment industry is an advantage; and
  • have strong analytical skills with the capability to articulate the complicated problems and business requirements to both technical and non-technical users;
  • be creative, analytical with a methodical approach in problem solving;
  • have good leadership with team building skills;
  • have good knowledge and skills in PMP / Prince2 project management methodology;
  • be able to build good relationships with different stakeholders across the organization;
  • have excellent communication skill with good business acumen; and
  • be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
