Position Summary:

This position focuses in developing new business opportunities and generating new business at existing customers assigned to the role. The role is responsible for lead generation, relationship management, and opportunity identification and closing of deals, including renewals. The role will align activities to support the strategic initiatives of the Consumer vertical globally and regionally and will play a lead role in designing solutions for prospects and customers.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop sales and account plans and specific objectives and materials
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with customers and follow up on commitments and issues that arise during meetings
  • Communicate on customer and competitive developments that relate to assigned prospects and customers
  • Identify potential customers in each line of business
  • Manage sales leads, secure appointments with key middle and senior management to understand business conditions and future opportunities
  • Provide insight and strategies for continued development of lead generation initiatives
  • Coordinate sales effort with the sales management and other internal departments
  • Lead post sales implementation team, including preparation of the account specific implementation plan and business reviews with the customer
  • Manage and monitor new program implementation to achieve successful delivery

 

Requirements:

  • University Degree holder or equivalent qualification
  • At least 6 years' relevant experience in the international logistics with track record in commercial areas & key account management
  • Experience in the retail industry or managing global retail accounts
  • Experience in using CRM with accuracy and timeliness of input
  • Strong in strategic and commercial thinking
  • Strong in building networks and customer relationships at various levels
  • Aggressive in driving new business and achieving service excellence
  • Strong ability to adopt & adapt new information technologies at work
  • Excellent in presentation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English & Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
