Senior Manager (Communication and Publications)(Ref : CIO/HO1611009/11647)

HK$136,732 to HK$157,529 per month (including Monthly Allowance).

The primary role of Senior Manager (Communication and Publications) is to provide strategic and professional advice on external and internal communication of the Hospital Authority (HA).
1. Take leadership in the formulation and review of the overall communications and public relations strategies and execution plans for HA to foster a positive HA corporate image/branding.
2.Plan, steer and organize corporate activities/events, including but not limited to those that help promote the HA corporate image/branding.
3.Lead and oversee the production and review of key corporate communication materials and publications, including annual reports and annual plans as well as staff newsletters.
4.Oversee the management, maintenance and enhancement of the HA internet and intranet sites. Proactive explore application of new communication platforms to enhance communication with key stakeholders.
5.Implement corporate communication strategies, collaborating with teams and other internal stakeholders and navigating professionally in the HA corporate structure and culture.
6.Supervise, lead and inspire the supporting teams with a view to ensuring competent skills and strong relationships and collaborations in accomplishing the tasks.

1.A degree in journalism, communications, public relations or related disciplines.
2.At least 15 years’ local experience in public relations, mass media or related fields, preferably with minimum 8 years of supervisory experience.
3.Good political judgment and strong interpersonal skills.
4.Able to work under pressure.
5.Fluency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
6.Excellent command of written Chinese and English.
7.Strategic thinking with initiative and drive to make things happened.
8.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and manage a variety of tasks with accuracy.

1.Appointment will be on contract terms for 3 years. Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance.
