The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong.
The HKMA currently embarks on a multi-year Digitalisation Programme that cuts across multiple functions, including banking and anti-money laundering supervision, financial stability surveillance, research and investment, with the aim of using technologies and data science to help us identify emerging risks and trends in a more forward-looking manner.

Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Chief Digitalisation Officer, you will be working with various HKMA departments to transform and adopt digital capability through continuous innovation
- As the Digital Transformation Lead, you will be working closely with business leaders to identify key improvement levers and focus area to drive operational efficiency, mitigate risks and improve user experiences
- Manage a small team of business analysts to drive process optimisation / re-engineering; facilitate baseline identification and agree target operating model in partnership with external consultants, internal business and technology stakeholders, in alignment to digital and IT strategies
- Develop relationships with IT counterparts and business stakeholders, and provide strategic influence to resolve conflict and prioritise deliverables
- Drive innovation by understanding business aspirations, and collaborate with technology leaders to continuously improve digital platform and drive wider adoption
Requirements
- University degree in business, computer science, engineering or related fields
- At least 5 years of experience in technology, operations or business transformation
- Demonstrable experience in gaining buy-in and influencing senior management; ability to convey key strategic messages, and to influence and network both internally and externally
- In-depth understanding of linkage between technology and operation. Experience in developing target operating model for digital transformation initiatives a big plus
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills; self-motivated, creative and with proven track record in developing and driving firm-wide initiatives
- Experience in client-facing role or management consultancy experience highly preferable
- Strong interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills
