Reporting directly to the General Manager of Asia, he/she will lead and direct the HR function in the region covering 7 countries. The details of the major responsibilities and requirements are outlined below.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop HR department objectives and benchmarks that align with the company’s mission and objectives.
  • Work as a HRBP for key stakeholders, develop departmental and company goals, support programs for recruiting and retaining talents, and policy and programs
  • ongoing support. Communicate frequently and provide overall technical and strategic support to
  • departmental and executive stakeholders within the organization to help the right business decisions.
  • Formulate, implement and review HR policies and procedures to support business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and local employment, tax regulations and manage relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Act as a consultant on human resources management and organizational changes.
  • Act as a catalyst in creating an atmosphere for learning, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the end-to-end processes of HR projects rollout in Asia and
  • any other ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned.


The ideal candidate for the position should demonstrate the following attributes:

  • University degree holder, preferably with HR Management or business emphasis.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience working as a HRBP/HR generalist gained within MNCs or fast paced business environment.
  • Previous experience in managing Asia markets is definitely a plus.
  • Able to see the big picture as well as shepherd the department/organization in planning, organizing, leading and controlling.
  • First class communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, ability to work cross culturally and a good team player.
  • Meticulous, well organized with great attention to details.
  • Energetic and able to motivate and enthuse others.
  • Hands on and yet able to delegate as needed.
  • A change agent with commercial acumen and ability to innovate.
  • Sound project management skills with experience in regional HRIS implementation and Regional rollout of Global projects/initiatives.
  • High proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
  • Willing to travel.
  • Candidates with current annual package of less than HKD900K will NOT be considered.
