The Job

  • Client: A Fortune 500 I.T. Consultancy
  • Position: Senior Manager, Legal
  • Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and support to different departments;
  • Review and comment on terms & conditions, contracts with vendors, business partners and other external parties.
  • $1Mil+, medical, bonus

 

 Requirements

  • Full time Law Graduate from reputed College
  • Possess 10+ years of legal experience at a large corporate firm or experience as in-house counsel preferably in software or IT services
  • Extensive experience with vetting, drafting and negotiating master service agreements, subcontractor/vendor/procurement agreements, licensing agreements, maintenance agreements, partner, reseller, and non-disclosure agreements
  • Experience in handling overseas contracts and negotiated high value deal contracts with customers, vendors, service providers etc.
  • Well versed in both Mainland China and Hong Kong commercial, employment and corporate laws
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills both in English & Mandarin Chinese and able to translate legal documents from Mandarin to English and English to Mandarin
  • Possess strong legal and business judgment, leadership skills and work independently on a wide range of issues and projects, while delivering quality work under a tight timeline.
  • Experience in working with multiple business stakeholders including basic knowledge on tax, finance, privacy, security aspects relating to commercial contracts.
