To lead scalable projects for regulatory and compliance requirements change, operations service expansion, work efficiency/accuracy improvement related projects. Also to identify opportunities/issues for Life Administration and recommend actions to Senior Management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to management of any post implementation issues
  • Manage the backlog of change requests, agreeing shifting prioritizations with the user community
  • Defining and owning the ongoing maintenance of the roadmap in close cooperation with business stakeholders
  • Chair/Facilitate regular project meetings, follow up with project team members as required to focus on business and operational issues/technical issues
  • Monitoring all project issues to ensure clearance with minimal impact to project progress
  • Produce effective progress reports to keep senior management appraised of project status, major risks and issues, scope changes, resource changes and milestone achievement or misses
  • Identify emerging business issues and/or opportunities in Life Administration during the course of project handling/trend and analyses, lead changes, recommend feasible solutions/actions and drive the implementation of action items agreed with Senior Management
  • Anticipate and identify potential issues/opportunities in LOE; recommend actions to Senior Management; drive changes in LOE & recommend best practices/policies for LOE continuous improvement
  • Maximize contribution of each LOE members by concise assessment on and effective mobilization of LOE resources with reference to the most up-to-date work prioritization as well as the practical needs to ensure quality deliverables as per agreed project schedule; and regular and continuous staff nurturing program
  • Day to day management of Business Analyst Team and resolve problems escalated from the team

Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder in any discipline
  • At least 10 years relevant practical experience with minimum 4 years in management level
  • Proven ability to lead delivery of scalable projects
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent people management with strong desire to lead by example
  • Solid knowledge of life operations
  • Familiar with Microsoft products
  • Knowledge of project management skills and tools
