Our client, a reputable listed bank, is now seeking an Internal Audit Manager to join their team. Reporting to the team head, candidate is responsible for:



  • Assisting the department head in planning and conducting internal audit jobs to independently assess the effectiveness of internal controls in the Bank
  • Assisting in provision of advisory services to the Bank’s major business and support functions from internal control perspective
  • Conducting functional risk and control assessment for risk-based annual audit planning
  • Identifying and evaluating the key risk control issues and providing value-added recommendations for improvement as well as mitigating the risk and control issues
  • Compiling audit issues and audit reports to highlight key control issues and risk implications
  • Conducting ongoing reviews to determine the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control and regulatory environment in their business activities
  • Developing, designing and executing audit programs for achieving the audit objectives



  • University degree in Accounting and Finance and qualified accountant with related professional qualification e.g. ACCA, CISA, FRM, IIA  preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in banking industry with knowledge in Credit/Treasury audit is an advantage
  • Familiar with banking practices, operation and procedures
  • Familiar with PRC/ Macau Audit Requirement and willing to travel to PRC and Macau is preferrable
  • Self-motivated, meticulous with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in both English, Cantonese and Mandarin
