The client is a respected global Insurance group, is now seeking a Senior Manager, Policy Administration / Operations Director - Insurance (HKD60k - 75k) to join their growing team in Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage real time / intraday adherence to productivity and quality metrics.  To plan and organize the resources ahead.
  • Identify areas for improvements, drive and implement changes in Policy Administration for service excellence
  • To update procedure manuals and guidelines, and training manuals to ensure compliance to regulations, legal and corporate audit requirements are met and service consistency
  • Develops supervisors to coach and manage effectively
  • Responsible for operational activities include policy admin, scanning, renewal, filing, dispatching, FNOL, Claims Admin, etc.
  • Establish clear career path developments across the team to systematically develop people in the team
  • Define the future operating model for "Customer Operations" and the plan to deliver, managing key stakeholders through the journey
  • Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) to ensure operational improvement and efficiency

Responsibilities:

  • Degree holder in related discipline
  • At least 8 years in back office operational management experience in CS, Policy Administration and/or Underwriting Services with experience in Insurance industry.
  • Experience leading a big team size operation.
  • Sound Knowledge of both Life & General Insurance operations is a plus.
  • Experience in change management, BPR, workflow process improvement, etc. 
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification is a plus but not required.
