Reporting to the Executive Director of Hong Kong Chronicles Institute, the Senior Officer is responsible for, but not limited to, corporate communications, public affairs, media relations and publicity, as well as editorial and publications.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in communications, journalism and/or public relations
- Bachelor degree or above
Responsibilities:
Corporate Communications
- Manage and enhance brand reputation
- Provide a wide range of communications materials
- Support senior management in writing speeches, letters and presentation materials
Editorial and Publications
- Write/edit communications and marketing content in both Chinese and English
- Handle the production of all promotional collateral, both in print and digital formats
Public Affairs
- Prepare for and manage issues and potential crisis
- Monitor issues and advise senior management
- Provide line-to-take statements
- Act as spokesperson as needed
Media Relations
- Build and maintain good media relations through publicity campaigns and PR initiatives
- Organize and manage media-related events
