The CIC is looking for a highly talented individual to fill the position of:
Senior Officer - Information Technology

The applicant must possess

  1. a recognised degree in Information Technology (IT) or other related disciplines; possession of Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional (CCNA/CCNP) / Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE) would be an advantage;
  2. a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification work experience in design and supporting multi-sites network infrastructure, and the design and implementation of fault tolerance and disaster recovery (BCP and DRP) in networks and servers;
  3. familiarity in server virtualization, data storage, wired and wireless network, LAN/WAN optimization, SD-WAN, SCOM/SCCM, cyber security, unified communication, VPN and Cloud environment;
  4. in depth knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2016/2012 and related services (Active Directory, GPO, DNS, IIS, SharePoint, TEAMS, Exchange), Windows Desktop, Microsoft SQL Server, MDM/MAM solution and VMware;
  5. proactive personality, good organisation skills and strong teamwork mindset;
  6. capability in people management, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
  7. excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Duties include

  1. to analyse business requirements to develop IT infrastructure solutions, including but not limited to networking, servers, firewalls, end user devices, and their framework;
  2. to support the establishment and implementation of IT governance framework and policies in line with industry best practices;
  3. to identify the areas / opportunities of improvement on IT infrastructure support and make proposal on project / enhancement initiatives;
  4. to establish proper documentations to ensure IT infrastructure installation / reinstallation / recovery, and effective ongoing operations;
  5. to participate in evaluation of IT infrastructure technologies and products;
  6. to monitor and administrate the IT infrastructure to maintain a reliable and stable operation environment;
  7. to work with Cyber Security Team to ensure the security levels on network, infrastructure and servers are maintained and compliance to company IT/Cyber Security standard;
  8. to manage and execute assigned projects to produce quality and timely deliverables; and
  9. to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.



The position is on a renewable fixed-term contract (subject to performance and operational needs) for a period of 2 years.
