Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society.

The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the Government in combatting illegal gambling. In 2019/20, the Club made a record return to the Government of HK$19.9 billion in duty and profits tax and contributed HK$0.8 billion to the Lotteries Fund. Approved charity and community donations were HK$4.5 billion.

Senior Officer, Owners Experience Management (Engagement Activation)
 

The Job
You will:

  • develop and execute Omnichannel owner engagement activities at dual site (HK and Conghua), aiming at Owners acquisition and retention. Liaise with service providers for the logistic support when necessary
  • establish and maintain good relationship with horse owners and handle enquiries/feedback in a proactive and timely manner
  • responsible for race day duties and dual-site owners events in Hong Kong and China
  • responsible for managing to Owners communication channels and regular review and update of Owners database
  • support new service programmes based on the owners strategy and keep monitoring the progress. Collect and assess feedback from horse owners for management review
  • track campaign and activities efficiency and effectiveness through insights and learnings to service recommendation for future campaign improvement
  • prepare and control budget for owners activities. Responsible for purchase requests submissions and related accounting follow up
  • plan and execute partnership engagement activities with potential partners
  • responsible for executing ad-hoc projects, which could be an Owners Experience Management team's initiative, or a cross-departmental project

 


About You

You should have:

  • a degree in Marketing, Communication or hospitality disciplines
  • 5 years or above solid hands-on working experience in agency, Marketing, Communication or VIP client servicing. Prior experience in luxury industry is preferred
  • flexibility in shift duty arrangements on weekends
  • sound customer service mind set, strong in building rapport and trust with customers and co-workers
  • strong analytical and strategic mindset and problem-solving skillset
  • ability to think unconventionally, be proactive and work independently
  • detail-minded, good organization and presentation skills
  • excellent problem solving skills, ability to work under pressure and multi-tasks handling
  • effective communication, interpersonal skills and ability to engage at all levels, building and maintaining relationships internally and externally
  • presentable, mature, self-motivated, good team player with positive working attitude
  • excellent command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • proficiency in MS Office; experience in using web-based database system or another analytical tool will be an advantage
