The Role:

Reporting to Head of Corporate, this opportunity will be responsible for manage business objectives to ensure consistent achievement of all financial and operational KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In charge of the operations for the department, allocation of resources and monitor daily operations to ensure healthy P&L
  • Stipulate SOP, KPI and action plan for current customer and new customer onboard to consistently enhance quality operations
  • Establish contracts, billing workflow, pricing and ensuring operation service level
  • Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel and discipline employees
  • Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions
  • Assist top management to monitor the monthly and quarterly KPI and P&L in the department, analyze and report to management
  • Handle marketing campaign
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities;
  • Responsible for fleet management and operations systems (TMS) implementation
  • Manage relationships with subcontractor and driver partner
  • Serve as primary point of contact when there are customer issues related to
  • Customer Service, or accidents of driver
  • Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints
  • Work closely with Head of Corporate and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures and systems and to follow through with implementation.
  • Communicate with legal department for SLA for client

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma Graduate or above in business, supply chain, logistics or related discipline
  • At least 10 years' experience in courier industry, warehouse, trucking company or freight forwarding industry in which 3 years in courier industry or familiar with vehicle management
  • Familiar with van, truck & warehouse renting and operations workflow
  • Knowledge of Transport management System (TMS) & warehouse management system (WMS)
  • Hard-working, careful, active, responsible, enable to work under pressure and fast-paced work environment with long hours
  • Enthusiastic in logistics, technology and e-commerce

Key Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and advance excel skills, with basic computer and software knowledge
  • Proficient in Chinese and English typing is a must
  • Good command of Cantonese, spoken English and Mandarin
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organization skills and logical thinking skills
  • People management & Conflict management
  • Decision-Making
  • Ability to demonstrate been able to translate business strategy into day to day delivery
  • Strong commercial understanding
