The incumbents will join our research and development team to take part in the research and development of various technologies for the local industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technology research and development in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Natural Language Processing (NLP), audio processing, video processing, Blockchain and / or Smart Contract
  • Research to develop novel methodologies of applying contemporary technologies for industrial applications
  • Plan, design, develop, test, and deploy prototype technologies and system applications involving the use of AI techniques and data-driven machine learning approaches
  • Design and carry out machine learning process using GPU computing with data streams possibly from video, audio, sensing data, textual sources, or combination of different data stream types
  • Support system demonstration

 
Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Engineering / Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years relevant research and/or post-doctoral experience
  • Able to demonstrate research and technical competence in aforesaid R&D areas
  • Able to carry out experiments/trials of proof of concepts (PoC) prototypes as well as preparing/drafting protocols for trials
  • Proven experience in research and development using Python, C++, .NET, C#, Go, Solidity and / or other programming languages or tools
  • Strong interest in exploring and using new technologies for implementation work
  • Strong problem-solving skills in designing and developing software solutions
  • Passionate and energetic in system design, innovative development, creative thinking, problem-solving, and continuous learning
  • Knowledge and experience in A.I., Data Analytics, Blockchain and / or IoT
  • Working experience in using open source software like TensorFlow, framework like PyTorch, API like Keras, library or SDK like OpenCV, and software development platform like GitHub is a definite advantage
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Candidate with less experience can be considered as “Researcher”
