Responsibilities: 

  • Act as the site team leader. Lead a team of 1 Resident Engineer and 2 Assistant Resident Engineer
  • Supervise and provide guidance to the site team
  • Monitor the overall site progress, site team operation and performance
  • Agree with the client on the approach of supervision for different site activities
  • Responsible for the overall supervision
  • Fully care for the client’s needs
  • Liaise with the clients, contractors, consultant, and local supervising engineer
  • Regular review the contractor’s quality of work and draw the attention of the client as necessary
  • Review contractor’s submission
  • Ensure all site team members are fairly and effectively represented on site

Qualifications & Experience required:

  • Degree or above in Structural Engineering
  • Over 12 years of working experience and at least 5 years site working experience is necessary, with China project experience will be an advantage
  • Familiar with Chinese building regulation and code requirements will be an advantage
  • Very good leadership and mentoring skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Putonghua



The above position will be on contract basis to work on a large scale comprehensive development project with 450,000m2 total GFA for Hang Lung Hangzhou Site in China. The contract will be 12 months initially which may be extended subject to performance and project development. Standard working hours will be 5 days per week. Attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidates.
