European trading company in household / sundries / furniture / camping items - main markets are Europe, France and South America – clients are mainly hypermarkets and specialty stores in European & South American countries - we are looking for SHIPPING CLERK - with details as follows :
  • F.5 graduates
  • Tertiary education/Diploma holder a plus
  • Business level English, Chinese and Mandarin
  • 5 to 8 years shipping experience for European/US/overseas market
  • Experience in import & export documents as well as L/C
  • Experience in buying office/trading companies is an advantage
  • PC proficent in MS Word, Excel and Chinese typing
  • Report to Shipping department Manager
  • Work in the Shipping Team of 3 members
  • Prepare full set of shipping document independently
  • Coordinate with factories for shipment arrangement
  • Communicate with banks on import/export documents
  • Provide up date shipment information to all parties
  • Coordinate with merchandisers to follow up the order movement
  • Coordinate with suppliers, forwarders, customers and agents for shipment arrangement
  • Prepare SO (shipping order) for the factories, to make sure of uniformity with custom documents and B/L
  • Check documents after prepared by suppliers till they are correct (B/L, CO, Form A, Visa, etc.)
  • Upload document to forwarder system for customs clearance
  • Other supporting work in the Shipping Team
