Our clients, top-leading retail brands, with their expansion in Hong Kong as well as Asia Pacific, are looking for suitable candidates for Social Compliance Responsibility Manager to join their growing team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure our Company adheres to legal standards, in-house policies, and to all Social Compliance policies from our Licensors
  • Ensure Far East Supply base meets all compliance requests, related to legal standard, licensor’s policies and MGI own expectations
  • Responsible for enforcing regulations internally and managing the adherence of our suppliers to all Social Compliance Policies, internal or external (Licensors)
  • Drive supplier performance improvement of Social Compliance, to meet expectation of all parties
  • Establish and manage relationship with the Social Compliance organization of our Licensors. locally and internationally
  • Provide regularly our Internal Audit Organization with audit plans, reports, CARs with action plans
  • Manage our sub-contracted firm (SCSA) activity and performance
  • Coordinate and drive alignment among all stakeholders including Licensor, Internal Audit team, VC management, Far East Purchasing team and Suppliers
  • Monitor, review, drive improvement of supplier’s compliance performance, get support from SCSA, Far East Purchasing team and management when needed. Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously
  • Participate to the assessment of our suppliers to identify compliance issues and mitigate them.
  • Establish audit plans, in liaison with our Internal Audit and SCSA
  • Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance issues
  • Liaise with our Licensor Compliance Organization for the Social Compliance certification of our established or new suppliers
  • Issue regular reports to Management, and stakeholders

 Requirements

  • Proven experience as Compliance Manager / Department Head
  • In-depth knowledge of Social Compliance standards and Regulations
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities
  • Excellent communication skills in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English
  • Stakeholder and supply base management skills
  • Certified Compliance professional is a plus
  • Independent and hands-on to every single procedure
