We are looking to recruit a team player who will ensure smooth operation of the buses between homes and different school campuses for the safety of the children and support other student services. This position will be located at Peak campus 4 days per week and 1 day at PFL.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and monitor the school buses operators on providing reliable, safe and good services to GSIS students and staff, be the main contact point with the school bus operators on all school bus related matters.

  • Support traffic control to ensure school buses run in and out of the school premises smoothly and timely.

  • Coordinate the scheduling and routing of school buses in cooperation with bus companies.

  • Co-ordinate with faculty staff on excursion buses.

  • Review bus routes and bus equipment and recommend changes where needed.

  • Manage communication with parents, school bus operators and GSIS staff and resolve inquiries, complaints and concerns as needed.

  • Assist with procurement tasks.

  • Help with school shop matters. 

  • Support in handling internal staff and student travel arrangements.

  • Assist with administrative duties regarding catering.

 

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • Experience in working in a busy environment, preferably in a transportation, logistics or school environment.

  • Fluent English and Cantonese language speaker with sound written and oral communication skills.

  • Office computer skills (especially Excel).

  • High degree of customer orientation and communication skills.

  • Independent working style and problem solving attitude.

  • A team player, used to work in a multicultural environment.
