A large manufacturer in disposable medical & dental products and they aim to deliver quality products at affordable prices. An industry leader in their field, they have a new opening of Supply Chain Manager to join their Hong Kong office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Establish an accurate demand plan for the region for each product item and communicate the product demand forecast with internal factories or supplies
  • Planning the incoming shipments base on sales forecast and actual sales tread
  • Ensuring the minimum handling and shipment cost for imported goods and materials by proper selection of shipping liners, vessel routing & time of arrival
  • Coordinating with factories to implement the production plan
  • Manage logistics cost for local outbound deliveries, inbound shipments and 3rd party logistics service providers
  • Responsible for negotiating terms of agreement with transportation and 3rd party logistics service providers
  • Ensure high level of customer satisfaction through better inventory management, responsiveness as well as value addition to business goals
  • Negotiate prices and manage supplier relationships, sourcing, and monitoring supplier’s performance 


REQUIREMENTS:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or relevant discipline
  • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain or logistics management
  • Good experience in managing 3rd party logistics provider
  • Solid experience in BOM costing, forecasting and budgeting
  • Familiar with ERP & SAP system will be an advantage
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese
  • Immediate available is an advantage
