As a Talent Acquisition Advisor within UL’s Global Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence you’ll be directly responsible for the support of day-to-day recruitment activities, development & implementation of talent strategies to recruit top talent for a key division within UL. Talent Acquisition is at the frontlines of identifying and recruiting talents who bring an innovative spirit and a diversity of thought to all they do. You’ll be responsible for the whole recruitment process and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.

You'll have the opportunity to deliver comprehensive talent acquisition strategies across multiple functions like Operations, Sales, Lab and Customer Service. Responsibility convers stakeholder relationship management, passive & proactive sourcing strategies, candidate pipeline development, candidate experience management & employer branding, using data to drive informed hiring decisions, providing value-added consultancy, and related project management.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Works with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop knowledge of internal customer groups to effectively target recruitment efforts in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
  • Develops tailored recruitment strategies that address specific needs of each position.
  • Utilizes creative sourcing techniques to identify and attract top active and passive talent for a variety of positions within the organization.
  • Presents and sells UL’s value proposition to candidates by articulating a clear and compelling message about our mission and values.
  • Manages full cycle recruitment process for candidates by coordinating with the HR Shared Service on interview scheduling, conducting pre-screen employment processes and generating new hire paperwork.
  • Ensures compliance by maintaining candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers. Provides counsel on the talent market, hiring decisions and offer negotiations.
  • Stays up-to-date on the latest recruiting industry trends and tools and shares best practices with the HR team.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • University degree with solid understanding of Talent Acquisition field.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with global team members in English – both verbal and written.
  • Extensive experience with direct sourcing, specifically utilizing online tools and social media to proactively find, engage and head-hunt if necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, engage and partner with business leaders at all levels of the organization to drive for progress, improve candidate flow and proactively address staffing needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced global business environment that requires solid time management & prioritization skills.
