The Job

  • To assist the manager to deal with daily technical issues related to Tap & Go merchant acquiring and payment business, including merchant training and field support, POS and device provisioning, repair and maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, website/app/wallet integration support etc.
  • To handle and closely follow up internal / external customer’s and merchant’s enquiries to achieve high customer satisfaction
  • To provide operational support on different programs and initiatives, and maintain / update the relevant information in the system
  • To trouble shoot and coordinate issues raised by users, service providers, vendors and associations, and initiate remedial actions
  • To provide practical solutions congruent with ideas in app conceptualization
  • To create mobile app prototypes for proof of concept demonstration 
  • To prepare regular reports for management review and approval
  • To assist and participate in defining user requirements and conducting user acceptance tests for system or device enhancement
  • To be able to provide support to Operations in early morning shift (from around 7:30am), night shift (to around 10:00pm), from Monday to Sunday based on ongoing Operation need.

 

The Person

  • University graduate in Engineering or technical related disciplines;
  • A minimum of 2 years’ relevant technical experience in POS/similar devices or website/app/wallet is preferred
  • With 1 year experience in mobile application development is preferred
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge in merchant payment operation and call center will be an advantage; 
  • Solid skills in programming language for both Android and iOS
  • Knowledge on web technologies is an advantage
  • Patient, detail-minded and customer-oriented;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese;
  • Hands-on skills in MS Office applications.
  • Fresh graduates in Engineering or technical fields with positive learning attitude may also be considered.
