MNC Buying Office; 5 Days Work; 13 Month Salary + Discretionary Bonus

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set quality standards and guidelines and establish governance to ensure that products meet quality, measurement, fit, make, aesthetic, safety and legal requirements
  • Analyse failed final inspection reports by exception and decide if shipment can be released
  • Resolve issues related to product quality on time so there is minimum impact to the critical path
  • Deliver critical business projects on time
  • Own the induction, coaching and development to create a high performing team with clear measure, development plans and support mechanisms to establish succession plans and talent pipelines
  • Deliver technical and quality induction to suppliers to train them on quality and technical requirements
  • Train new joiners across different functions on technical and quality standards and processes
  • Drive continuous improvement programs across teams and processes to enhance productivity , performance and product quality

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 years’ solid experience in quality field with at least 6 years in a managerial role
  • Knowledge in pattern making, fit, garment construction, manufacturing process, well-versed in both cut & sewn knit/ woven items
  • Experience in technical package creation, sample evaluation, live model and mannequin fit evaluation, product approval
  • Strong leadership and management skills in managing technical team with experience working directly with designers and buyers
  • Good sense of responsibility with strong analytical skill, be flexible and detail-minded
  • Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) 
  • Excellent PC skills, with proficiency in MS Project, PowerPoint & Excel
  • Occasional travel to China and overseas countries is required
