Job Duties: 

  • Participate in the detailed design and process commissioning of laboratory experiments and on-site pilot studies of food waste recycling research projects
  • Undertake field work, such as food waste and/or wastewater sampling, on-site supervision of equipment installation, system testing and commissioning
  • Provide support in detailed design drawing preparation, drafting system equipment technical specifications, technical report writing and other project documentation
  • Provide support in preparation of promotion and marketing materials
  • Need to travel to Mainland China and/or overseas to perform duties when necessary

 

Job Requirements: 

  • Graduate with a Bachelor or Master Degree from disciplines such as Electrical/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering from a local university
  • Experience in food waste recycling, wastewater or water research/engineering project, mechanical, electrical and BS, knowledge in ACAD, solidworks is an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Mature, self-motivated, and devoted with passion in technical work
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua

Note:

This is a position funded by the Internship Programme of the Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF) R&D project from May 2019 to April 2021.
