The Insurance Authority (IA) is an insurance regulator established under the Insurance Ordinance (Cap. 41). The principal function of IA is to regulate and supervise the insurance industry for the promotion of the general stability of the insurance industry and for the protection of existing and potential policy holders. 

 

In support of the Government’s Job Creation Scheme under the Anti-epidemic Fund, and with facilitating the sustainable market development of the insurance industry being one of our statutory functions, we are launching the Insurance Talent Development Programme to nurture talents for the insurance sector. Reporting to the Senior Manager / Manager (General Business), the incumbent will undertake the following:

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support for developing procedures and workflow for record management
  • Establish / Enhance the index system for Data Management System
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisors

 

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Relevant experience in file management and data retention: minimum 5 years for the Manager post and 3 years for the Assistant Manager post
  • Experience in project management / general administration will be highly valued
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, and able to work in a team in a collaborative environment
  • Proficiency in software applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing)
  • Proficiency in written English and Chinese

 

Appointment Terms

A competitive remuneration package commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications on a 1-year fixed-term contract will be offered.
