2. Tenure-Track Assistant Professor
(Ref.: 201601552) (jointly offered by the Faculty of Business and Economics and the Faculty of Science, to commence on September 1, 2017 or as soon as possible thereafter, initially on a three-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal and with consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second three-year appointment.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Statistics with research areas including but not limited to environment, business and public health. This is a joint appointment between the School of Business (specifically, the Innovation and Information Management group)
( of the Faculty of Business and Economics ( and the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science ( of the Faculty of Science (, with the latter department as the home department. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointments on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary for posts (1) and (2), and 10% of basic salary for post (3). For posts (1) and (2), housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
