Our client is currently looking for a trade support/middle office analyst to join their equities team. This candidate should be a Bachelor degree holder with at least 3 years of work experience in middle office/trade support, preferably with equity derivative product exposure.

Our client is a leading and well-known investment bank with 200+ branches in the Asia, Europe and the North America region. Their Hong Kong branch provides a wide range of financial services, including fixed income, corporate finance, commodities and currency, wealth and investment management, equity sales and trading and research services.

Description

  • Provide support to the trading desks actively across a variety of Equity Derivative products

  • Act as the primary contacts to internal and external clients on delivering quality service

  • Assist in building out a set of controls in line with the GM Control Framework

  • Minimize operational risks which stem from meagre management on daily operations

  • Comply with SOX requirements, detect and clear breaks in trade reconciliation

Profile

  • Bachelor degree holder, preferably from business disciplines
  • Previous experience in investment banking/trade support/middle office, with equity derivative product exposure
  • Knowledge in Equity Derivatives and the trade life cycles
  • Excellent spoken and written fluency in English and Cantonese
  • Ability to pick up complex system architecture quickly and work effectively under pressur
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, capable of working with management at different levels
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, VBA knowledge is an advantage
