The Hong Kong Arts Development Council is looking for a Training & Scholarships Officer to implement the training grants, scholarships and funding schemes (“programmes”). The programmes aim to nurture local arts managers and administrators and enhance their management and administrative capabilities.

 

Duties include handling the programmes applications, preparing programmes and meeting documents, liaising with local and overseas stakeholders, assisting in monitoring and reporting the programmes progress and budget.

 

Requirements:

  • A University graduate with minimum 2 years relevant working experience
  • Experience in running internship, scholarship programmes or funding schemes in sizable organizations would definitely be an advantage
  • Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Possess the capability of being detailed-oriented and well-organised to handle applications and reports
  • Multi-tasking, adaptive and be able to meet the deadline as assigned
  • Proficient in computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred
  • Knowledge and good understanding of Hong Kong arts sector is a plus

 

Successful candidate will be offered a 12-month contract. Salary offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
