We are looking for a UI and Interaction Designer, work under contract for 6 months, to join the Design and User Experience team. You are required to have the ability to deploy strong design fundamentals, user-centric principles, and brand vocabulary. The ideal candidate will have an eye for clean and compelling designs, feel comfortable translating high-level requirement and interaction flows and transform them into clean, intuitive and on-brand user interfaces. You should be familiar with iterative design sprints, various research methods, and design communication techniques to collaboratively to get a high accessible solutions.


• Design and search products within the SagaDigitals platforms including indoor map, data analytic tools

• Designs interactive and interface design solutions for screen-based software applications and systems based on established design principles and in accordance with design strategy, practices, and guidelines. 

• Seamlessly join various teams at any point within a product cycle to design natural interactions and flows

• Develops and implements interactive and interface design plans, changes, specifications, and reusable design elements for new and existing products.

• Work well with various digital product teams with differing priorities and criteria

• Work with the design team to develop interaction design patterns in multiple digital product categories

• Work with design team on digital product specific style guides

• Wireframe and prototype user flows

• Work with engineers to understand technical feasibility of existing and proposed user interfaces


Eductation & Experience

• Degree in User Interface Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field or equivalent work experience

• 1-3 years of professional experience designing for interactive online experiences, including web and mobile experience. eCommerce experience is a plus.

• Portfolio of live examples of work

• Mastery of your tools, e.g. Adobe products, image processing tools and interactive prototyping tools.


Preferred qualifications

• Experience with application of design theories, principles, and concepts of information technology and consumer product and service design Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong understanding and experience in designing and implementing research and data collection plans for interactive and interface design testing and acceptance.

• Solid working knowledge of modern HTML, CSS, and Javascript

• Experience wireframing and/or designing awesome sites or apps

• High proficiency with standard design tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator

• Self-motivated and able to manage schedule against multiple milestones and release dates

• Experience with location-based systems or map-related applications

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
