A top tier law UK law firm is currently seeking a candidate with experience in information resources to join their established team.

Client Details

Our client has restructured their knowledge management department over the last couple of years, which has lead to improvements across the function and streamlining/centralising of processes.

Description

Working together with colleagues based in the other Asia offices, this role will require:

  • Managing/maintaining the internal and external resources, including the online database, hard copy books and subscriptions.
  • Liaising with vendors and trialling new products.
  • Providing training to internal staff, including fee earners.
  • Assist with business research as required.
  • Monitor the budget for the information resources function.

Profile

The successful candidate is required to have a background in studying information resources/librarian studies. They must have 2-5 years of solid practical experience - this experience does not need to be from the legal industry. They must have strong technical skills, but also solid interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders. Chinese language skills are preferred, but the candidate must at least be able to communicate very well in English.
