Working Location: Cheung Sha Wan
 
Reporting to the Service Centre Manager, you will be required to:

  • Supervise ground operations team on roster basis to ensure all the inbound and outbound shipments are properly handled in accordance with network procedures and transit time standards
  • Manage daily work processes and resources allocation, monitor the warehouse performance and drive for high productivity
  • Monitor performance of subcontractors and vendors to ensure work quality standards are in line with Company standards such that a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained
  • Ensure safe working practices and environment for frontline staff
  • Lead or participate in Company’s continuous improvement initiatives
  • Cultivating As-one team spirit within team and motivate team members for performance excellence
  • Decision making in daily operations in the absence of Service Centre Manager

Requirements:

  • Certificate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain or other related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in transportation/ logistics industry; with at least 2 years’ experience as Lead Courier / Lead Agent / Team Leader
  • Knowledge of DHL operations systems / processing and with IATA related certification are advantageous
  • Independent, responsible, initiative, customer-oriented and self-discipline
  • Capable of multi-tasking and able to work under job pressure
  • Familiar with MS Word and Excel
  • Shift duty is required
  • Job rotation to Courier team and other Service Centres are needed
