Yield Manager (Ref: AMS-YM)

Purpose of the position:

The Advertising & Marketing & Solutions (A.M.S.) team is expanding to meet the requirements of our digital first strategy. A data-driven transformation is being adopted through the democratization and access of data via multiple platforms to empower all teams across the business to make smarter decisions. Measuring the impact of those choices gives us the agility to adapt quickly.

This role will be at the center of the A.M.S. team and ultimately set the pricing and yield strategy for our business. Pulling in data from all business divisions and platforms. Working with the Data team to create visualisations and automated reporting to inform our Ad strategy and product development, forecasting and vendor management. Reporting to the Revenue Operations Manager. They will be a key contact for Management, Finance and Operations.  


Job Responsibilities

  • Build or supplement existing data infrastructure, visualisations and automated reports.

  • Enhance data collection processes to include data from 1st and 3rd party systems relevant for developing analytics systems.

  • Processing, cleaning, and verifying integrity of data leveraged for analysis.

  • Constructing automated anomaly and outlier detection systems to track and trigger alerts and/or automated tasks based on performance.

  • Create data tools to help streamline and automate workflows for the A.M.S. team.

  • Work with the leadership team to advise on yield and forecasting.


Job Requirements

  • At least a university degree in computer science, math, engineering or data science – Masters preferred.

  • Experience in handling large volumes of data and creating visualisations.

  • Should be familiar with Google Big Query, Google Data Studio and Tableau.

  • Demonstrated experience with web architecture, scaling, debugging code, and performance

  • Fluency in applied statistics - distributions, statistical testing, regression analysis etc

  • Fluency in scripting and programming frameworks would be ideal.

  • Flexible, adaptive, quick learner - works well in a collaborative, communicative environment.

  • Ideal if bilingual in English and Cantonese.

Work Location will be in Causeway Bay office.
