Internal Audit Executive(s)
Detailed responsibilities:
Reporting/Communication
1. Reporting
o Ensures reports are factual and presented in a fair and commercial way that allows for effective evaluation by readers.
o Coordinates clearance of reports, particularly dealings with local, regional management and the board.
o Verifies that observations, risks and associated actions are substantive, and facilitates resolution of underlying issues within determined timeframes.
2. Periodically visit locations, meeting with key management and local operation teams as appropriate.
3. Ensures timely raising of all relevant issues or risks impacting the group’s legal entities to relevant local compliance standards (including but not limitation to statutory reporting, custom and tax), company’s prescribed levels of authorities & internal controls, including matters identified outside of the regular audit activity.
4. Establishes trusting relationships with external auditor and regulators.
Requirements:
• Educated to relevant degree level, ideally with six years of commercial, audit or regulatory consulting background gained at APAC area especially in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Vietnam.
• General knowledge of APAC regulatory environment and how these requirements apply to footwear business is essential. Some familiarity with different countries local jurisdiction laws and regulations is an advantage.
• Good project management skills, strong stakeholder management skills and ability to think strategically, act swiftly and deliver results are essential. Candidate must have expert analytical skills with experience in collecting, analysing and synthesizing information on various subjects.
• Strong interpersonal, communication (written and presentation) skills and organizational abilities are essential with an ability to liaise professionally and with diplomacy across all levels of staff in a clear manner.
• Proven track record of working collaboratively across multiple business lines and with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels but also of taking the lead when needed.
• A self-starter who is proactive with ability to identify key issues, learn new concept, and obtain appropriate information for further analysis.
• Willing to relocate and station in APAC area.
• Good ethical personality and integrity.
