ASSISTANT LOGISTICS MANAGER (30K X 13) - Europe MNC Third Party logistics (3PL) & Warehousing Service (Yuen Long)

• Within our logistics business, the third-party logistics and warehousing division plays a key role in supporting daily operations and customer service. This division manages warehouse operations, inventory control, order processing, distribution center activities, and logistics coordination to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery.

• We are now looking for an experienced and hands-on Logistics Professional to join this division and lead a team in delivering high-quality logistics and warehousing services.

ROLE MISSION

• You will lead the logistics and warehousing function to ensure smooth daily operations, strong service performance, and continuous improvement. The role will develop and implement logistics strategies, optimize processes, and support business growth through efficient supply chain execution.

• This position reports to the General Manager and leads a logistics team of 10 members, including logistics supervisors, warehouse supervisors, logistics assistants, and warehouse assistants.

ROLE SUMMARY

• Responsible for overseeing freight forwarding, order processing, warehouse operations, distribution center activities, and inventory control. 

• The role will use SAP and WMS systems to improve operational efficiency, control logistics costs, and maintain service quality.

• The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to align logistics operations with business needs and drive continuous improvement in supply chain performance.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and service performance.

• Oversee freight forwarding, order processing, distribution center operations, warehouse operations, and inventory control.

• Manage daily logistics and warehousing activities to ensure smooth and accurate service delivery.

• Use SAP and WMS systems to support efficient warehouse and distribution center operations.

• Lead projects to analyze logistics costs, identify improvement opportunities, and simplify processes.

• Work with internal departments to align logistics initiatives with business objectives.

• Monitor logistics trends and best practices and introduce improvements where appropriate.

• Lead, guide, and develop a team of 10 logistics and warehouse staff.

• Ensure compliance with company procedures, operational standards, and service requirements.

• Support management reporting, planning, and other logistics-related tasks as required.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Tertiary education or above, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management.

• 8+ years of experience in supply chain and logistics functions.

• Strong knowledge of WMS; SAP experience is highly preferred.

• Solid experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution, and inventory control.

• Proactive, agile, and able to multitask effectively.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• Good problem-solving and coordination abilities.

• Fluent in written and spoken Cantonese, English, and Putonghua.
