The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong. There is now an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the following post:
Key Responsibilities
Process and review procurement applications in accordance with established rules, guidelines and procedures; provide recommendations on tender/quotation reports and respond to internal enquiries on procurement matters
Administer tender and quotation exercises, including handling submissions and enquiries, maintaining relevant records, and supporting related administrative arrangements
Process purchase orders, invoice matching, supplier and fixed-asset records in relevant systems, and maintain proper filing of supporting documents
Conduct end-to-end procurement of centralised administrative items, including preparing requests for quotation/tender, confirming specifications, placing orders, and monitoring production and delivery
Manage inventory and stores, including stock replenishment, issue control and maintenance of relevant records; administer relevant ordering arrangements and support internal activities as required
Prepare procurement, inventory, sales and other statistical reports
Assist in annual budget preparation, budget input and monitoring, year-end accruals, petty-cash reporting and petty-cash control
Provide general administrative, records-management and logistics support, and perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
University degree
Qualification in procurement and supply management an advantage
At least 2 years of relevant working experience in procurement and administrative duties
Proficiency in MS office applications; experience in procurement or financial system preferred
Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
