ASST SALES MANAGER / FRUIT & VEGETABLES / HORECA – Food Distributor (North Point/ 5 days)

ROLE MISSION :

• Develop and expand the Fruit & Vegetables business within the HORECA sector by nurturing existing relationships, securing new opportunities, mastering F&V market dynamics, and delivering strong top-line sales and bottom-line margin results through strategic tender management.

ROLE SUMMARY :

• This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sales Director. You will work within an 8-member team driving HORECA sales growth across Hong Kong and Macau. 

• As the primary salesman for key accounts, you will manage HORECA tender platforms, develop client relationships, execute business strategies, and coordinate cross-functional operations to deliver measurable results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Drive top-line sales revenue and bottom-line margins for key HORECA accounts and the overall HORECA portfolio

• Co-develop and execute strategies to expand the Fruit & Vegetables business across Hong Kong and Macau HORECA markets

• Build and maintain strong relationships with HORECA stakeholders including purchasing managers, chefs, and end-users

• Manage HORECA tender platform operations, including tender submissions, bid negotiations, and contract renewals

• Ensure seamless coordination between procurement, sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to meet company standards and client requirements

• Monitor F&V market trends, seasonality, pricing dynamics, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies

• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the HORECA sector

• Deliver regular sales reports and performance updates to senior management

IDEAL CANDIDATES :

• Deep knowledge of fruit & vegetable import and distribution dynamics, including seasonality, market trends, and supply chain operations

• Proven sales experience in fruit & vegetables for HORECA clients

• Familiarity with tender platforms is a big plus 

• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English

• Strong commercial acumen with results-driven mindset 

• Self-motivated individual contributor who can work independently while collaborating with the team
