Senior Project Officer (Community Engagement & Volunteer Development)

Job Responsibilities:     

1. Community Engagement:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with government departments, community leaders, NGOs, corporations, churches, schools and foundations, etc. to promote and advance Christian Action's mission.

• Coordinate and implement community activities, secure funding sources, and facilitate collaboration among stakeholders to drive community development initiatives.

• Represent Christian Action at external meetings, forums, and events to advocate for partnerships and raise the organization's profile.

2. Volunteer Development:

• Promote and coordinate volunteer teams, including recruitment, planning, training and allocating volunteers to various programs.

• Liaise closely with other parties to align volunteer arrangements.

• Manage and execute the volunteer management systems to ensure its operational efficiency.

• Design and organize volunteer courses, workshops, and engagement activities to enhance volunteer skills, motivation, and commitment.

• Prepare regular reports on community engagement and volunteer programs for internal and external stakeholders.

• To undertake any ad hoc duties as required
  
  

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Business Development, Training, Management or related discipline

• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in community engagement, volunteer management, training or/and non-profit sector

• Strong organizational, project management, and communications skills

• Experience in designing and delivering training or engagement programs is an advantage.

• Proactive, team player, adaptable, positive and trustworthy

• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)

• Strong in Word, Excel, Powerpoint

• Working location: Choi Wan

• Working hour: Mon-Fri, 0830-1730

• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Officer
