System Analyst (IBM, Java, over $60K)

Job Duties:

To study, design and perform in-house development of CDS back-end services, including enhancements for support for APIS implementation
To provide system integration support of CDS with various application systems
To study the new CDS back-end system design subsequent to the technology refreshment project and provide technical advice on back-end optimization and tuning
To provide post-rollout technical support for CDS back-end services after the technology refreshment;
To prepare documentations including functional specifications and program specifications;
To review project deliverables, and monitor the implementation progress and performance of program codes, database queries, etc.;
To execute and assure the proper change management; and
To perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirement:

Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or related subjects
At least 4 years' experience in IT industry
Solid experience in system design and analysis of web application systems and back-end application frameworks
Strong experience in the configuration and management of the service-oriented architecture via different management tools, in particular the IBM WebSphere Liberty, IBM WebSphere Service Registry and Repository and IBM DataPower Gateway
Solid experience in object-oriented design, Java application development and web services development via Java application framework like Spring and Hibernate
Good communication skills and vendor management skills.
