Technical Project Manager / IT Team Lead (Application Development)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise an internal technical team (System Analysts and Programmers) alongside outsourced contractors to deliver high-quality technical support

• Lead end-to-end system development, maintenance, and support tasks for System and associated taxation applications.

• Drive the rollout of critical application enhancements, including updates for policy changes (e.g., extending the claim period for the newborn additional child allowance).

• Oversee project lifecycles, resource allocation, timelines, and deliverables across core systems.

• Perform additional project leadership and operational duties as directed by senior management.
  
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Higher Diploma / Degree in Information Technology or related subjects

• At least 10 years experience in IT with 5 years experience in Project Manager role

• Proven, solid track record in application development, maintenance, and project Tedelivery.

• Extensive experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting mission-critical enterprise systems.

• Strong hands-on expertise in System Analysis, System Design, and Application Programming.

• In-depth experience developing web applications using Java, JavaScript, and J2EE.

• Experience in working with government is preferrable

• Strong project management, team leadership, and vendor management capabilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
