Network and Security Engineer (Bank, Kowloon Bay)

Job Duties:

• Perform daily operations, monitoring, and regular maintenance for enterprise LAN, WAN, wireless networks, switches, and routers.

•  Assist in the configuration, deployment, and policy tuning of Next-Generation Firewalls and Web Proxies.

• Coordinate with senior team members to handle network upgrades, hardware installations, and firewall ruleset creation/modifications.

• Set up and maintain secure VPN connections (IPsec / SSL VPN) for site-to-site connectivity and user remote access.
  
  

Job Requirement:

• F.5 or above

• At least 1-3 years' experience in IT industry

• Hands-on experience in network operations or infrastructure support. (Candidates with less experience but strong basic knowledge will be considered for Assistant Engineer).

• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, and basic routing concepts (Static routing, OSPF basics).

• Basic hands-on experience or familiarity with firewall configuration (e.g., Fortinet / FortiGate or any other mainstream brands) and Web Proxies.

• Experience in handling standard network switches and routers (e.g., Cisco, Huawei, or equivalent).

• Experience in supporting bank / finance system
