Data Centre & Infrastructure Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical counsel to Senior Management regarding IT infrastructure trends, modernization, and high-impact investment decisions.

• Lead the end-to-end planning, review, and endorsement of modern network and infrastructure architectures; establish enterprise-wide technical standards.

• Continuously evaluate existing infrastructure, perform gap analyses, and execute strategic improvement roadmaps.

• Ensure high availability, resilience, and operational excellence across data center environments and core systems.

• Establish and enforce best practices in network operations, infrastructure security, and systems management.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 8 years of post-qualification IT experience, with at least 5 years in a similar enterprise capacity.

• Deep proficiency in routing and switching protocols, LAN/WAN, STP, HSRP, ARP, VLANs, Inter-VLAN Routing, OSPF, and BGP.

• Solid background in data center facilities operations and infrastructure hosting environments.

• Mastery of industry-standard network management tools and ITIL operational frameworks.

• Practical experience in supporting, architecting, or implementing DevSecOps pipelines and culture.

• Familiarity with government procurement, tendering processes, and vendor contract negotiations for IT equipment/services.
