SOC Infrastructure Analyst/Systems Support Engineer (over $60K)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide system administration, technical support, and performance tuning for SOC monitoring systems.

• Participate in analysis, design, implementation, and testing of system changes/enhancements, particularly in:

• System monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, SIEM including Elastic Search)

• Service management tools (e.g., Jira Service Management)

• Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) including Hyper-V and VMware

• Maintain and update system diagrams upon infrastructure changes.

•  Support operations and system changes for HCI infrastructure components.

• Review health check monitoring procedures and automate tasks with sub-systems.

• Monitor and report system usage, infrastructure health, and application services.

• Follow up on reported issues with server infrastructure and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.

•  Provide technical support for project-related matters and daily administrative tasks.

• Prepare reports and deliverables in line with project standards.

• Assist in planning and executing system maintenance events.

• Ensure quality control of project deliverables produced by contractors/vendors.
  

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above

• Minimum 4 years of post-qualification IT experience, including at least 1 year in system analysis and design.

• At least 2 years of experience with Hyper-V and VMware.

• At least 2 years of experience in system monitoring (e.g., PRTG administration).

• Knowledge of other hypervisors beyond Hyper-V and VMware is preferred.

• Experience with service management tools such as Jira Service Management is preferred.

• Strong command of spoken and written English; proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.

• Self-motivated, independent, able to work under pressure, multi-tasking, and energetic.
