DevOps Engineer (Cloud & Linux, over $40K, Mong Kok)

Job description:

• Support the implementation of a centralised IT platform with DevOps tools for automated deployment, operation, and monitoring

• Manage configuration of server and network infrastructure across GCIS and on-premises systems

• Develop and maintain scripts to automate system deployment, configuration, and operational tasks

• Assist with system testing, documentation, and preparation of technical guidelines

• Provide day-to-day IT support and maintenance to ensure system stability, performance, and security
  

Job Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or related disciplines

• At least 3 years of IT infrastructure experience

• Strong knowledge of DevOps tools, cloud infrastructure, and networking

• Hands-on experience in automating deployment, operation, monitoring, and logging

• Solid experience in applying DevOps lifecycle to IT systems using tools and scripts

• Experience with Government systems or public sector projects is an advantage

• Familiarity with Jenkins, Gitea, Grafana, Prometheus, or Loki is highly desirable

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
