System Analyst (Peoplesoft, 5 days work)

Job Duties:

• Analyse business and technical requirements for PeopleSoft Finance, Purchasing, HR/Payroll and Campus Solution (SIS).

• Design, develop, test, and deploy PeopleSoft customizations and enhancements.

• Provide production support, issue troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

• Support patching, upgrades, and change management activities.

• Collaborate with functional analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Leverage AI coding tools and Java programming to optimize, automate, or enhance system functionalities.

• Prepare technical documentation, test scripts, and migration instructions.
  

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• At least 12 years or above of hands-on PeopleSoft development experience.

• Strong experience with PeopleSoft 9.2, with PeopleTools v8.6+ in Finance, Purchasing, Human Resources and Payroll, and Campus Solution (SIS).

• Proficiency in PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Component Interface, Integration Broker, PeopleTools Workflow Technologies, and SQL/Oracle.

• Practical experience in AI coding (e.g., utilizing AI tools/assistants for code generation, review, and optimization).

• Proven experience with system analysis, debugging, and performance tuning.

• Practical experience in Java development and proven experience working on Java, CSS, and Node.js, with demonstrated expertise in both backend and frontend development
