Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Huawei, over $40K)

Job Description:

• Collaborate with the Contractor to carry out System Analysis and Design (SA&D), system implementation, performance tuning, and documentation for a new private cloud system.

• Partner with the Contractor to support the migration of the existing Unix-based system to the new system.

• Diagnose, fix, and resolve system issues when incidents arise.

• Provide technical support to end-users and other technical personnel.

• Review and apply security patches to the systems.

• Carry out server support responsibilities and capacity planning.
  

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent

• At least 4 years’ experience in IT industry

• Experience in installation or supporting configuration on Huawei Cloud Stack (including FusionSphere Cloud Suite, ManageOne, RDS for MySQL, OceanStor BCManager, Cloud Container Engine, FusionGuard), Sansec HSM and Kylin Linux

• Experience in installation or supporting on Huawei network products (including Switch, Firewall, IDPS) and Venustech Global Site Load Balancer

• Experience in Linux system administration, including patch upgrade, health check and other relevant service components

• At least 1 years’ experience in:

  • Data/File Backup Technology

  • Production Database Support

  • Server Virtualisation Technology

• At least 0.5 years’ experience in:

  • Internet Firewall Technical Support

  • Metro-Ethernet Network

  • Network Design

  • Router Configuration
