Senior Cloud Application Engineer (K8S, Linux, Over $58K)

Job Description:

• Develop, test, and deploy a public-facing web application and related systems operating across both cloud infrastructure and public cloud platforms.

• Research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain a range of cloud technologies and services across multiple public cloud providers, including but not limited to serverless computing, Content Delivery Network (CDN), object storage, virtual machines, databases, and web application firewalls.

• Coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders on system integration and user acceptance testing.

• Optimize, maintain, and ensure the integrity of systems that extract, store, and present historical data.

• Stay current with the latest security guidelines and alerts, assess potential impacts, apply system patches, and recommend and implement security enhancements.

• Explore and assess emerging technologies and methodologies, along with their technical implementation
  

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent

• At least 4 years’ experience in Python programming

• At least 3 years’ experience in Structured Query Language and  Web Programming

• At least 2 years’ experience in development of web application with HTML5, JavaScript and CSS

• At least 2 years’ experience in Linux System Administration

• At least 1 year' experience in development or support of container-based architectures of K8S standard
