Information Systems Manager (Gov’t project, over $75K)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the in-house application team in providing production support, ongoing maintenance, and enhancement

• Oversee overall system infrastructure, network architecture, operations, security, system testing, and change management processes.

• Facilitate integration and interoperability between mobile messaging platforms and other government IT systems and services.

• Supervise technical staff, allocate resources, monitor performance, and handle daily administrative duties.

• Provide timely project status updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior management.

• Coordinate and execute project activities assigned by management.

• Support mission-critical systems, including participation in on-call support and occasional work outside normal office hours.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related disciplines.

• At least have 8 years’ experience in IT industry

• Extensive experience in IT project management and team leadership.

• Strong hands-on experience in planning, deployment, administration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including: Windows Servers, Network switches, VPN gateways, Load balancers, Backup and recovery solutions

• Solid experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server

• Strong knowledge of information security, including Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Encryption and decryption technologies, Endpoint security solutions, Security risk assessments and Security audits and compliance

• Proven experience in system analysis, application development, implementation, and maintenance support.

• Experience in administration and support of HCL Domino/Notes Platform and LotusScript

• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong command of written and spoken English
